Does it hurt?
Yes…however we have done a lot of tattoos and the consensus is consistent, it’s never as bad as expected. The sensation can be described as more annoying than painful. Don’t be scared homie.
How much will it cost?
This also depends on the size, detail and location of the tattoo. Tattoos are generally priced by the piece, we will price it for you before we begin. The shop minimum is $100 and larger work (sleeves, backs etc.) are charged at a rate of 150/hr.
Can I bring my own design?
Of course…show us what you would like to get and we’ll talk to you about your options. Sometimes we will need to adjust some things and apply some basic principles of long lasting tattooing.
How long will it take?
That depends on the tattoos size, detail, how well you sit etc. Our tattooists do not mess around…they’re efficient pros and don’t take a smoke break every 10 minutes. Proficiency with Efficiency.
Do you do cover ups?
Yes we do however, a consultation will have to be done to determine if it is possible and what your options are. Keep in mind the tattoo will generally need to be larger and darker than the tattoo you have. But please come in and show us for more info.
I’m under 18 can I get Tattooed?
No…our shop policy is firm on not tattooing minors.
FAQs
What are the sanitary conditions of getting a Tattoo?
All of our tattoo supplies are individually wrapped, single use instruments. They are opened immediately before each tattoo and disposed of after. The entire tattoo area, including counter tops and furniture, is sanitized with medical grade sanitation products after each tattoo.
Should I tip my Tattooer?
While it is certainly not expected, if you love your tattoo and enjoyed your experience at the shop we recommend tipping as you would any other service professional.
Can I get Tattooed over a scar?
All scars are unique and tattooing over them is done on a case by case basis. Please come into the shop and speak to a tattooer we will always speak to you about your options.
Can a friend come with me while I get my Tattoo?
Typically the answer is yes, we know getting tattooed can be more fun with a pal. For the time being…due to COVID 19 the answer is no. Less people in the tattoo area means we can distance ourselves properly while still being able to move around. Please come to your appointment alone and help us stay open.
Do you take walk ins?
Yep! We love walk ins. Dylan and Maddy do them throughout the week when they’re available. Nathan has a dedicated walk in day every Saturday 12-7.
How much does it cost for a touch up?
All touch ups done on tattoos made at ERTC are complimentary for up to a year. Touch ups done on tattoos not made at ERTC are done on a case by case basis.
